Republican whiplash from their impotent showing in the midterms is now turning to retribution, and the first one in line calling for it is propagandist and milquetoast polo spectator Tucker Carlson, who spent weeks drooling over the authoritarian measures he could call for on his Fox platform after his minions took office. But alas, it was not meant to be, as Republicans sucked lemons in Tuesday’s elections.
Carlson demands the GOP House and Senate leadership and the heads of the Republican National Committee be fired because, well, Republicans sucked at implementing all their voter suppression efforts because Democratic get-out-the-vote efforts were successful and dammit, Republicans won’t stand for legal voters casting a ballot without their approval. And set aside conservative policies are exceptionally unpopular with the American public. Tuckems wants heads on pikes. Let’s see how comfy they are when they’re the targets of their mob’s anger.
