A federal judge on Thursday rejected executive and attorney-client privilege claims from former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone and his sidekick Patrick Philbin and ordered the two to provide additional testimony to the DC grand jury investigating the fat former president’s failed coup attempt following his absolutely humiliating defeat to Joe Biden in the 2020 election, CNN reports.
Cipollone and Philbin had appeared before the grand jury in September but weaseled out of answering questions they deemed were protected by executive and/or attorney-client privilege. DC courts had previously rejected such claims from Pence minions in the same investigation.
