Suspected Iranian drones attack US military base in Syria

At least two US-allied Syrian opposition fighters were wounded in a suspected Iranian kamikaze drone strike on an American military base in eastern Syria on Friday, the Associated Press reports.

No Americans were injured in the strike. “Attacks of this kind are unacceptable – they place our troops and our partners at risk and jeopardize the fight against ISIS,” said a US military spokesman.
