Sick of hearing House Republicans disparage his city, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office issued a statement reminding people that New York City is a statistically safe city, even as sexual assault misprisioner Jim Jordan and others, in a weaponization of government, threaten the DA’s office federal funding–which would be a minimal hit given that most of the office’s funding comes from local taxes, not the whims of partisan Committee heads kowtowing to a carrot-colored criminal.
“We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the justice process,” a spokesperson said according to the Washington Post. “Many false claims have been lobbed out, so let’s set the record straight. New York remains one of the safest big cities in the US.”
