The Floridians not already up all night tweaking on meth and bath salts got woke up at 4:45 AM EDT on Thursday when the state sent out an emergency alert test to smartphones, CBS Miami reports on a temporary distraction to heels-wearing Gov Ron DeSantis’s pursuit of a petty vendetta against Disney World. Sucks for him that he has to stop campaigning and instead deal with an actual issue, even if it’s to simply find a scapegoat and fire them in the most publicly embarrassing way possible.
