The South Florida US Court District’s PACER system completely crashed Thursday night as reporters rushed to try to pick up the Trump indictment, but the staff at Lawfare were able to get a look at it to find that, as might have been expected, it is sealed. However piecing it together with that, as Trump lawyer Jim Trusty just nearly fully confirmed on CNN, there’s a conspiracy count, they write that such a charge would imply that “Trump did not act alone. And the criminal docket in the Southern District of Florida, actually shows five sealed cases handed up today, two of them with successive case numbers. This may, or may not, suggest that there might be other defendants in the case.”
Separately the Messenger reports that one other person will be charged alongside Trump, which tracks with Lawfare spotting the two successive case numbers. But it could be as many as five.
