India’s Chandrayaan-3 is scheduled to touch down on the surface of the moon at 8:34 am EDT Wednesday, a feat that would make India the fourth nation on Earth to successfully have a functioning probe on the moon, following the Soviet Union, the United States and China. Not sure if Russia technically counts after the little mishap their much-hyped Luna-25 probe had last weekend.
