Federal judge Steve Jones, the Obama appointee overseeing former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadow’s attempt to remove his Georgia racketeering case to federal court, requested both parties submit responses to address the issue: “Would a finding that at least one (but not all) of the overt acts charged occurred under the color of Meadow’s office, be sufficient for federal removal of a criminal prosecution under [the law]?” Responses are due by 5 p.m. Thursday.
