“Today, the House Freedom Caucus released the following official position urging leadership to keep Representative Bennie Thompson from being a member on the Task Force to investigate the attempted assassination of President Trump and remove him from his role as Ranking Member on the House Committee on Homeland Security. In April, Thompson launched an effort with other radical progressive Democrats to deny Secret Service protection to President Trump – legislation that he continues to defend even after the attempted assassination on July 13.”

“We therefore urge the removal of Rep. Thompson as the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security. Similarly, his actions should invalidate Rep Thompson from serving on the task force to investigate the attempted assassination of President Trump. Americans cannot trust that he will be an unbiased arbiter of the facts in the effort to get to the bottom of the greatest failure of the Secret Service in more than three decades,” say the House Freedom Caucasians in a statement justifying their “official position” opposing Thompson being named to the chamber’s panel investigating the failed assassination attempt on convicted felon former President Trump.

The problem is, and there’s always a problem, is that these cunts are omitting the toplines of Thompson’s bill (that will never pass in the Congress anyway): it would strip Secret Service protection from imprisoned felons. Obviously Thomas Crooks didn’t come at Trump in the yard with a shank for stealing his cigs, the Freedom Caucasians are full of shit, per usual.
