Now has Harris been maybe a little slippery on what parts of the record she wants to label as “the Biden-Harris Administration” versus what’s just “the Biden Administration”? Sure. Biden ran as Obama’s veep selectively, Al Gore the same with Clinton, no doubt George HW Bush did to with Reagan, Walter Mondale with Carter, so on and so forth. It’s not unprecedented for her to do that nor is it unprecedented for the other team to try to tie her to weak spots in Biden’s record.

But when they’re writing “our communities are more dangerous under Kamala Harris” acting as if she’s already president now while simultaneously making fucking 2019 the cutoff for when violent crime was down, in the third year of Trump’s failed administration, they’re simply requiring too much suspension of disbelief from the folks at home, already to coerced into the entire premise’s juvenility that few MAGAmericans dare admit to themselves, let alone contemplate openly among their peers.

Because to actually voice questions like “What the fuck do we actually think is going to happen if Trump is elected again? Is every street criminal going to say ‘OH NOES! IT’S T-T-T-TRUMP! WE’RE SO SCREWED!’? They’re gonna hang up their wool ski masks and crowbars, vowing to make an honest living because Trump strikes so much fear into their hearts?” is to come face-to-face with just how truly fucking cunty and simplistic “TRUMP SO TOUGH ON CRIME SO ELECT HIM AGAIN” is.
