Expressing frustration with Israeli political leadership, the families of Americans being held by Hamas in Gaza asked President Joe Biden to negotiate with the terrorist group directly to free their family members rather than rely on Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, NBC News reports.
While it’s notoriously difficult to negotiate with a terrorist organization, Netanyahu has been pinpointed by critics on various sides of the political spectrum as the sticking point in furthering a long-term cease-fire that would include releasing hostages and prisoners by both sides.
