The freaking weird saga of Trashelle Odom and Corey Lewandowski took a not-terribly unexpected turn Friday when the newly-divorced MAGA donor community socialite sat for an interview with CBS and revealed that, after the longtime campaign minion of convicted felon former President Trump had sexually harassed and assaulted her during a 2021 Las Vegas fundraiser for Corey’s other girlfriend, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Corey’s lawyers had tried to pay her $30,000 to keep quiet even while publicly denying that he had cornered Trashelle, bragged about stabbing two people to death, the first one was when he was 10 years old, that his “dick is four inches bigger than a normal dick,” and could have sex for 12 hours straight, as well as groping her repeatedly.
Trashelle also revealed that Trump called her personally after the incident, told her Corey was drunk and that he would be exiled from “Trump world.” Then two months ago a friend called and told her that Corey was back on the campaign which Trashelle describes through tears as making her “very upset.” She doesn’t say anything more about Trump or Lewandowski, however, with the anchor saying afterward that Trashelle now has her own small business, and is done with politics. The anchor adds that neither the Trump campaign nor Lewandowski himself would respond to a request for comment. That’s kind of telling that Steven Cheung didn’t want to call Trashelle a lying bitch.
There’s one pretty big wrinkle in this drama: Lewandowski was already back in “Trump world” by February 2022, not even five months after he was exiled for the second time over the Trashelle incident. He was given a lower-key assignment in New Hampshire and then detailed by Trump to then-Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry’s 2023 gubernatorial campaign. Trashelle’s then-husband John Odom found out and lost his shit, demanding Landry return a $100,000 check.
But in Politico’s reporting of that episode of the saga, they said they got an “unsolicited” statement they attributed to an unnamed “representative for Trashelle Odom” saying “Jeff Landry is not just my friend but I believe he has been the strongest Attorney General in America. He has protected children and fought for our individual rights. Jeff truly has my full and complete support for governor of the state of Louisiana,” meaning something’s really freaking not adding up here.
It’s one thing for Trashelle to have missed that Trump rehired Corey in early 2022. It’s another to be cool with Landry hiring Lewandowski a year ago but not Trump officially adding him to the campaign team this year. Who the hell sent Politico that unsolicited statement last year? Like this woman’s name is funny as hell and we love playing it up because it fits the whole saga perfectly but now this trivial mini-mystery is taking up too much space here end with such a lame non-resolution.
Enough of this trash, we need answers.
