Johnson definitely needed that. Whether he’s going to continue to hold the gavel at this time next week still depends on how Friday goes, but with Trump behind him it becomes somewhat easier than if the fat fuck had said nothing. And obviously Johnson would be doomed if Donald had undorsed him. This is the path of least resistance for Trump and, in the likely-ish event Johnson squeaks through, makes it easier to certify the presidential election on January 6th.
That is unless Antifa, the FBI, the NSA, and the CIA send 10,000 rioters to sack the Capitol and try to stop the Electoral College vote count. If you believe they did it in 2021 while disguised as MAGA voters to frame Trump then you can be damn well sure they’re going to do it again for real this year.
