Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to announce his resignation as leader of the Tim Hortons country’s Liberal Party – and thus the premiership – as soon as Monday, or at least ahead of the party’s big national caucus meeting on Wednesday, the Globe and Mail reports.
The imminent end of Trudeau’s nearly decade-long reign leading Canada is seen as direct consequence of convicted felon President-Elect Trump’s upcoming second reich and the threat of 25 percent tariffs that would seriously fuck up the economies of both countries. Even without Trump, Trudeau had been facing a revolt within his party over other economic matters like rebates and something called a “GST holiday,” with Tories claiming a shit ton of support in national polling.
