“Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem released the following statement after US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested an illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump,” said a Wednesday DHS press release quoting the dog murderer with “Thanks to our ICE officers, this illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump is behind bars. This threat comes not even a year after President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania and less than two weeks after former FBI Director Comey called for the President’s assassination. All politicians and members of the media should take notice of these repeated attempts on President Trump’s life and tone down their rhetoric. I will continue to take all measures necessary to ensure the protection of President Trump.” The stupid asshole just had to bring James Comey into it, lol.

The release then named “Ramon Morales-Reyes, a 54-year-old illegal alien from Mexico,” as having penned the letter in very bubbly handwriting and near-perfect English with only two misspellings.

ICE blurred out the return address which, along with his name on it, maybe kind of should’ve been a fairly obvious sign that perhaps Reyes did not write or send the letter. Maybe it was someone who had it out for Reyes and wanted him detained by ICE as soon as possible as to silence him.

Which is actually exactly what sources tell CNN had happened: Reyes was the victim of a robbery and assault recently and the assailant wanted Reyes deported before the case could go to trial so either the defendant or, judging by the handwriting, more likely a female spouse/partner or family member, sent the letter to ICE in the hope that Reyes would be prevented from testifying. Reyes also provided a handwriting sample to federal law enforcement and it did not match the letter. Also Milwaukee Police officials say they’re reviewing calls made from the jailhouse specifically mentioning the address of the ICE facility to which the letter was sent. So no, it does not look like Reyes will be charged for making terroristic threats against the President of the United States of America.
