“‘Too Late’ should resign immediately!!!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Wednesday along with a link to a Bloomberg story headlined “Fed Chair Should Be Investigated by Congress, FHFA Head Says,” about fanboy Federal Housing Finance Agency chief Bill Pulte trying to delegitimize Powell with some circlejerk probe about renovations to the Fed’s headquarters to try to create a pretext for a “for cause” firing. The whole convoluted nonsense raises the important question of why Trump doesn’t have the balls to just do it and decide his cause was not lowering interest rates and having the temerity to point to uncertainty over tariffs as the main reason.
