The Fayette County Record, a very obscure local Texas weekly whose marketing is apparently about on par with National Zero’s – meaning effectively non-existent – 29 days ago reported that Roland Beainy, the managing partner of the Trump Burger chain in the Houston area, was facing a litany of legal issues, including civil disputes with his partners over money and the landlord at one of the locations who has reportedly “commandeered” the business and rechristened it as “MAGA Burger.”
Those are just the regular, day-to-day shitshows of the dregs of the service industry. The real problems for Beainy are a one-two from the Orange God Emperor himself, the president who Beainy told Fox Business News in January is a “gentleman that makes peace, even before he took office, he made peace in the Middle East already between Lebanon and Israel”: A cease-and-desist from the Trump Organization for trademark infringement and, per an ICE statement to the Houston Chronicle on Thursday, that “Despite false claims to the contrary, Roland Mehrez Beainy does not have any immigration benefits that prevented his arrest or removal from the United States. Beainy is a 28-year-old illegal alien from Lebanon who entered the United States in 2019 as a non-immigrant visitor, but he failed to depart by Feb 12, 2024, as required under the terms of his admission. ICE officers arrested him on May 16, 2025, and he was placed into immigration proceedings. On June 13, an immigration judge granted his request for bond while he undergoes his proceedings.”
“Under the current administration, ICE is committed to restore integrity to our nation’s immigration system by holding all individuals accountable who illegally enter the country or overstay the terms of their admission. This is true regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have,” they added, pouring some extra cheap french fry salt in the gaping, oozing wound.
“USCIS revoked the petition after evidence, including admissions from the petitioner’s own family, exposed his marriage as a sham designed to game the system,” said a separate DHS statement to the Chronicle. “This person has no Green Card, a history of illegal marriages, and an assault charge. DHS is actively pursuing all legal avenues to address this flagrant abuse of our immigration laws.”

Meaning Beainy was in the gulag when Fox News tweeted this stupid bullshit. The Fox Business News article which it did not link to was curiously dodgy, writing “A Lebanese immigrant named Roland Beainy reportedly opened the restaurant chain,” despite the very same outlet having freaking interviewed him four months earlier. It was something at the time National Zero had ascribed to simple incompetence on the part of their team, but now raises the question of whether they were aware that Beainy had been scooped up by ICE and chose not to print it since that might’ve kind of marred their butthurt jeremiad over a pair of shitty reviews from the Chronicle and Eater Houston.
It’s also extremely likely that Fox Business News had themselves painted the target on Beainy’s back in the first place with their January 30th article “Trump Burger chain expanding in Texas, owner praises president as ‘gentleman that makes peace’” as, per the County Record’s reporting, it was just five days later that the fat fuck’s deeply corrupt business empire had sent their cease and desist to Beainy, saying “we were surprised to learn that you have been flagrantly infringing upon the Trump Organization’s valuable and well-established intellectual property right by operating at least three restaurants under the Trump name and brand.” Lol, especially at “valuable” and “intellectual.”
Now, as famously vexatious as the fat bastard is, even a mediocre trademark attorney likely could’ve shot this down fairly easily because of the doctrine of “acquiescence,” meaning that, given the whole, vast universe of unlicensed Trump fan merch out there fat Donald and his minions have not pursued as infringements on the Trump “brand,” that they’ve already technically surrendered.
Example: Nintendo is notorious for shutting down fan-made projects, ones that by definition have no profit motive for regular guys that slap together their own little sequels to official Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, and other series. They’re just tributes yet Nintendo treats them as if they were marketing and selling these unauthorized games under the reasoning that if you don’t take down all of them then you can’t take down any of them. That Trump hasn’t done the same to all the stupid bullshit they sell on ProudPatriots.com – or the many “Trump Stores” – that he has not and never will see a dime for should tell you the C&D was all bark and no bite from Team Orange.
The County Record says that they had reached out to the Trump Organization to see whether they ever actually made good on the threat and sued Beainy or Trump Burger, but got no response. So, no. And a tell that Eric Trump decided to take another route to punish Beainy for making money off the Trump political/business empire by telling Tom Homan to look into it. Why bother with lawyers’ fees in a long and uncertain infringement case when taxpayers can take care of the problem?
