The guy that convicted felon President Trump’s regime is depending on to make their “case” against former FBI Director James Comey is at best a “problematic” witness for the federal prosecutors assigned to try to put Comey behind bars – something that was written in the memo that sources tell ABC News outlined why they shouldn’t try to put it before a grand jury – which was ignored after the fat fuck ordered the last US Attorney fired and his replacement went forward with the case.
Dan Richman – a law professor who former insurance lawyer-turned-Acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia alleges that Comey used as his cutout for leaks to the media – told prosecutors that the 8647 seashells guy specifically told him not to talk to the press at least twice and very specifically denied that Comey had ever authorized him to make such leaks to the media ahead of the 2016 election, the memo said. And yeah, that’s who the entire case rests on.
Comey will be arraigned at a courthouse in Alexandria on Wednesday morning. The Trump Regime will probably leak his mugshot in contravention of longstanding Justice Department policy against making them public. The MAGA propaganda-industrial complex will have their fun with it and all the lib legal pundits will lose their shit over this being such a disgraceful abuse of power and another rapid erosion of the rule of law and by now everyone can just spew the same tropes in their sleep.
The Laurence Tribes and Quinta Jurecics of the world aren’t wrong to describe it as such per se so much as maybe a little myopic about where this is going to go, especially given that nobody in that class – or even the resentful dorks outside of it like Jonathan Turley – think this “case” is going to make it to trial. Whenever and however it ends in a failure to bring Comey to “justice” that will be a very bad day for the Trump Regime politically. Say all you want about the fact that this is even happening in the first place is an atrocity, you’ll find no argument here. There’s also no minimizing the abuses of the Reich against people who don’t have the same resources and connections that Comey has. There’s no hiding the delta between him and that lady who was abruptly transferred out of Club Fed just for shit-talking Ghislaine Maxwell to the media. Nor can one deny that charges, bullshit or not, are still a devastating financial hit whether they result in conviction or not.

There was a fucking Category 5 nuclear meltdown in the MAGAverse when Russia investigation investigation John Durham suffered a humiliating defeat to some Dem lawyer nobody had ever heard of. Mike Sussman walked in a case that had both a strikingly similar premise (and flaws) to the one against Comey. Stupid Lindsey Halligan just BARELY got this in before the statute of limitations expired – and it’s probably going to take a lot more work to conjure up another piece of shit indictment against New York Attorney General Letitia James – which will also end in failure.
And the Dems will mock the regime and their fans viciously and cruelly. It will have been a completely unforced error by the fat fuck, needlessly pissing away his artificial political capital.
