Texts obtained by Politico reveal that Paul Ingrassia, the 30 year-old Neo-Nazi sex pest nominated by Trump to lead the Office of Special Counsel, writes privately to his friends in white nationalist young conservative circles pretty much the same shit that he publishes on various far right outlets.
“MLK Jr was the 1960s George Floyd and his ‘holiday’ should be ended and tossed into the seventh circle of hell where it belongs,” “I do have a Nazi streak in me from time to time, I admit it,” “Never trust a chinaman or Indian… NEVER,” and “I said [we’re] making kwanza illegal in the next Trump admin… That was the gist of my tweet… No moulignon holidays… From kwanza to mlk jr day to black history month to Juneteenth… Every single one needs to be eviscerated,” Ingrassia wrote in a text group that eventually disbanded last year because, per whoever leaked it to Politico, “Very influential people were trying to give him advice” like stop texting shit like this because it can get leaked to the media “and he threw that advice right back at them and basically said, ‘Fuck you. Look at me. I can write a Substack and get it posted by the president. Who are you to talk to me?'”
In related news, here’s a 2013 Patch.com profile of Ingrassia as one of the top 10 students at a small, unremarkable high school in a small and remarkable district on Long Island’s South Shore:

“Constantly challenge yourself by taking rigorous classes, completing assignments, and always put in your best effort. However, most important is having the belief that you can attain a high level of success. I firmly believe the work ethic and values acquired in high school will carry on through college and beyond. If it is your goal to be at the top of the class, focus on ways to improve yourself and get extra help when needed. Moreover, put your best effort in all classes; take full advantage of easy assignments and don’t take electives for granted. Lastly, while getting recognized for your efforts is a great achievement; nothing can compare to the intellectual growth and overall well roundedness of my character brought on by years of hard work and dedicated educators,” was Ingrassia’s advice to, um, juniors, freshmen, and sophomores at his school (?)
