Russian-flagged oil tanker “Bella-1,” a sanctioned vessel that has been under pursuit for weeks, was boarded and seized by US Coast Guard and Nevy personnel on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
The successful interdiction operation, staged in the waters off of Iceland, happened in the presence of at least one Russian submarine and other vessels in Vlad’s navy that had been escorting the ship and how the hell this did not turn into an immediate shooting war right then and there is unknown.
