Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he thinks 2022 midterms turnout in the state will be somewhere between the nearly 4 million ballots cast in the state in 2018 and the more than 5 million in 2020, both of which were records in absolute numbers.
Early voting begins Monday in Georgia. “The earlier you can vote during early voting, the better, because we are expecting really strong turnout,” Raffensperger said. “If you’re driving around the neighborhood and find out there’s an early voting location and no one is there, just take the 10 minutes and go ahead and vote. You’ll be glad you did.”
