Wanted criminal Republican Congressman George Santos, 34, has hired 76 year-old former New York Republican governor candidate and Hitler fan Carl Paladino, 76, as a staffer in Santos’s office, according to a listing on some government directory site flagged by Politico’s Nicholas Wu.
“I was thinking the other day about somebody had mentioned on the radio Adolf Hitler and how he aroused the crowds. And he would get up there screaming these epithets and these people were just – they were hypnotized by him. That’s, I guess, I guess that’s the kind of leader we need today. We need somebody inspirational. We need somebody that is a doer, has been there and done it, so that it’s not a strange new world to him. I look around at the politicians that we’ve elected locally and I, I just can’t [unintelligible] on a federal level, I can’t get comfortable with the RINO-ism,” Paladino said in a 2021 radio interview, which would make him a curious hire for a “Jew-ish” Congressman.
UPDATE 1/9/2023 4:23 PM EST: Wu quickly followed up with a statement from Santos’s spokesworm, saying the listing is “inaccurate. Mr. Paladino is not employed by our office.” Freelancer Ben Jacobs reports that it’s actually a “former Paladino campaign staffer” who is “taking a senior role in Santos’s office,” which doesn’t explain why that “Legistorm” directory listing was made saying specifically that Paladino himself took the job in Santos’s office.
