A new Marist/NPR/PBS national survey finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump by 51 to 48 percent in a head-to-head and 48 to 45 percent in a full field matchup with Russian assets Robert F Kennedy Jr, Jill Stein, and Cornhole Cornel West included.
The polling team at Marist write “Regardless of whom they support, registered voters divide (48 percent to 48 percent) as to who they think will win the presidential election. Trump previously had a 20-percentage point advantage over Biden on this question. 52 percent of independents currently believe Harris will be victorious,” which is a bigger deal than you think. Just the mere belief that this race is a tossup and not Trump’s to lose is a huge boost for Harris in turnout over Biden.
