Two key members of Vice President Mike Pence’s staff have tested positive for the coronavirus, less than a month after an outbreak of political staff from a superspreader event at the White House held September 26th, NBC News reports.
Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff, reportedly began a quarantine after testing positive Saturday. Pence’s senior political adviser, Marty Obst, also reportedly tested positive Saturday. The Pence campaign and White House staff are said to be cooperating with contact tracers.
Pence and his wife Mother reportedly tested negative for the coronavirus.
