With no political experience and having never held elected office, Ivanka Trump is considering a campaign for the US Senate or the Florida governorship in 2022, according to the Times of Israel.
If Ivanka were to run for office, she would be taking on either incumbent Republican Senator Marco Rubio or incumbent Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who are both up for reelection in 2022. Presumably, Ivanka would run as a Republican, although she could run under the banner of a third party her father might try to establish because he is aggrieved by (what he considers) Republicans betraying him for recognizing the election victory of President-elect Joe Biden.
Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, recently purchased a 1.8 acre estate on Indian Creek Island, an exclusive gated community located on a 0.4 square mile Florida island with just 41 houses.
Ivanka has never had a job outside of a company owned by her father. She’s was banned from sitting on the boards of non-profit organizations in the settlement of a fraud case involving the now-closed Trump Foundation, and she received at least a dozen Chinese trademarks while she held a position in the White House. Prior to her taking that position, national security agencies objected to giving her and her husband security clearances; they got them because her daddy–the now-outgoing president Donald J. Trump, who has an unnatural attraction to his daughter–demanded they be issued.
