A new poll by Ipsos shows a vast majority of Americans support President Joe Biden’s efforts to battle the coronavirus pandemic, civil rights efforts and his reinstatement of DACA protections.
But the most shocking disclosure, as pointed out by Press Run’s Eric Boehlert, is that Joe Biden enjoys a greater amount of support among Democrats than Donald Trump ever had with Republicans. Biden current has a 98% job approval among Democrats; Trump’s max in the GOP was 90%.
Biden’s in-party approval rating is one of the highest since Ipsos started polling the question. Only George W. Bush’s GOP approval in the wake of the September 11th attacks was higher, at 99%.
