While President Trump has failed to build his promised coast-to-coast wall along the Mexican border (and collecting a check from Mexico to pay for it), Americans are building walls to protect protestors in Portland.
What started as a Wall of Moms, women clad in yellow t-shirts, who stand between protestors and camouflage clad federal agents has grown into multiple groups standing up before the undocumented government paramilitary.
Hearing from a friend in Portland that there are 10-15k marching tonight. The “Walls of Moms” (wearing yellow) & Dads (orange), joined by “Wall of Vets,” “Teachers Against Tyrants” (green), Healthcare Workers (in scrubs) & Lawyers for BLM (purple) pic.twitter.com/EfJGo0YyVG

The Walls of Dads (in orange), of Vets (in black or camo), of Teachers (in green), of Lawyers (in purple) and of Healthcare Workers (in scrubs) have joined the Moms in confronting the agents, who often lob tear gas or fire less-than-lethal weapons at the unarmed protestors.
“Our veterans are here specifically to support the rights of the protesters to protest,” former Marine Duston Obermeyer told The New York Times.
