Nunes lawsuit over investigative reporting of his family's dairy farm in Iowa employing undocumented immigrant laborers dismissed

On Wednesday a federal judge in the Northern District of Iowa dismissed with prejudice, a defamation lawsuit filed by Congressman Devin Nunes over a 2018 article “Devin Nunes’s Family Farm Is Hiding a Politically Explosive Secret” written by then-Esquire political reporter Ryan Lizza and Heart Media, Esquire’s parent company. The article details a long investigation by Lizza and concludes with basically an ironclad preponderance of evidence that Nunes’s parents and uncle employ illegal labor at their farms.
