The Trump campaign announced that President Trump will visit four battleground states next week, coinciding with the Democratic National Convention, the Washington Post reports.
On Monday, the opening day of the DNC convention, Trump will make appearances in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He’ll travel back to Washington, DC, where on Tuesday he and First Lady Melania Trump will declare August 2020 as National Suffrage Month. (It should be noted that he’s making this designation on August 18th, more than halfway through the month.)
Later on Tuesday, Trump will fly to Yuma, Arizona where he’ll make a speech about immigration and border security.
No events are as yet scheduled for Wednesday, but on Thursday, Trump will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi and then head to Old Forge, Pennsylvania to visit a building supply company.
