Ukrainian officials claim their forces destroyed a command post at an airfield in the Black Sea port city of Kherson on Saturday, killing Russian Lt General Andrey Mordvichev, MarketWatch reports.
If confirmed, Mordvichev would be the fifth Russian general to have been canceled on the ground in Ukraine since the invasion began on February 24th, joining Major Generals Vitaly Gerasimov, Andrei Sukhovetsky, Andrei Kolesnikov, and Oleg Mityaev in the Siberian pine box.
