Asked if Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was responsible for the murder of US-based journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the former half-ton Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, as if the Secretary of State isn’t an intelligence position: “I will leave that to the intelligence professionals. I have actually read what’s there. I,I, y-you should know, ra– read it carefully, there are still lots of questions about what transpired there except the fact that we know there was a murder and that we were highly confident during my time in service that the dozen people–I think it was thirteen maybe–Sean, that we sanctioned, were connected to that in a serious way, and we did what America always does and we hold those responsible for this heinous activity accountable. But it’s also important to put in context the Middle East, Sean, and America’s interest in there, and we were America First, which is what we worked at.”
The Trump administration did not sanction Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and in fact, Trump son-in-law, skinwalker and former White House advisor received $2 billion from MBS, and former Trump Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin got $1 billion for himself.
