Ukrainian missiles cause massive blackouts in Russia

Governor of Russia’s Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov on Monday assured his subjects that crews are working hard to restore electricity to the oblast after at least six Ukrainian missiles oblasted power stations in the capital city, also called Belgorod, Reuters reports.

Gladkov then posted video of the Belgorod philharmonic performing by torchlight, just like they did back in Tchaikovsky and Borodin’s days. Must’ve been a really authentic experience.

“Trump/Republicans” currently the third “MOST important problem facing the country today” among NYT/Siena poll respondents

The newest New York Times/Siena national survey is preeeetty lengthy/comprehensive, 71 questions in total, 56 of them printed this morning, the rest “withheld for later release.” The toplines are that convicted felon President Trump is 11 points underwater on job approval at 43 to 54 percent approve/disapprove and Dems lead Republicans 47 to 45 percent on the generic Congressional ballot – though among independents D candidates have a much more impressive lead of 49 to 39 percent. More timely is the question of “Who would you blame more if there is a shutdown of the federal government at the end of the month, the Democrats in Congress, Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress or both equally? Or have you not heard enough to say?” to which 26 percent said Team MAGA, 19 percent said Dems, and 33 percent said “Both/equally,” and another 21 percent said they “Have not heard enough to say.” It’s that last group that, pretty obviously, is key to be messaging to about how the next few weeks are going to go politically for the two sides.

What was pretty friggin funny in the poll findings however was what issues were ranked on “What do you think is the MOST important problem facing the country today?” in which, as usual, “The economy (including jobs, stock market)” led at 16 percent followed by “Polarization/division” in second at 13 percent. In third was “Trump/Republicans” tied at 9 percent with “The state of democracy/corruption.” There must’ve been some rounding in there and the fat fuck and his party ahead of the other issue – which was basically the same thing anyway given the synonymity of the fat fuck and his party with their war on American democracy and their boundless corruption.

Even funnier is that there was no similar option for respondents to identify “Liberals/Democrats” as one of the most important problems facing the country today. Must’ve been an oversight.

WATCH LIVE: Trump and Hegseth address their wehrmacht

Fun fact about this Trump performance from the Washington Post’s Sunday reporting “Trump’s appearance at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia not only overshadows Hegseth’s planned address but adds new security concerns to the massive and nearly unprecedented military event,” emphasis added on the “security concerns.” Almost like they’re worried that some of the generals and admirals might have ideas on how to make a swift change to leadership.

RJ May pleads guilty to distributing child porn

Republican former South Carolina state Representative RJ May on Monday officially pleaded guilty to five federal counts of distributing sexual abuse material involving children, the South Carolina Daily Gazette reports on the final downfall of the 2023 Moms for Liberty “Legislator of the Year” laureate, also known as “joebidennnn69” on Kik, the platform on which he was most active.

May faces five to 20 years, as well as up to a $250,000 fine, on each count when he’s sentenced on January 14th. Prosecutors have yet to file a sentencing memo but seem serious about the fine. US Attorney Bryan Stirling told the court that investigators have identified 21 of the at least 62 victims in the videos that May had distributed and intend to distribute the proceeds to them as restitution.

US fire departments tasked with Domino’s deliveries

“Domino’s Pizza Inc, the largest pizza company in the world, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) are joining forces to deliver fire safety messages to homes across the country. During Fire Prevention Week (Oct 5-11), customers who order from participating franchise-owned and corporate Domino’s stores throughout the US may be surprised when their delivery arrives accompanied by a fire engine. If the smoke alarms in the home are working, the pizza is free.”

“If the smoke alarms are not working, the firefighters will replace the batteries or install fully functioning alarms,” says a Domino’s press release unsubtly promoting ordering pizza rather than making your own at home, which is a much greater fire safety hazard.

“We don’t want to give illegal aliens the health care of Americans”

Convicted felon President Trump tells Politico Playbook he and his regime really are sticking to that bullshit line about Democrats’ shutdown goal: To ensure that illegal immigrants get free government healthcare – the logic being that cutting Medicaid and Obamacare subsidies for everyone will save taxpayer money because a small number of illegal aliens have allegedly gamed the system.

“We don’t want to give illegal aliens the health care of Americans,” said Trump, adding that the Democrats “want to destroy health care in America by giving it to millions and millions of illegal aliens. There’s not money for that. Nobody has money for that.” And that’s the extent of the quotes.

At no point did the Politico Playbook reporter write that she had asked Trump to point out the specific provision in the Dem proposal specifying they want to give undocumented immigrants access to Medicaid or Obamacare subsidies. Or an estimate of how many were benefitting.

Meanwhile the Mountain State Spotlight reports that 60,000 West Virginians stand to lose their ACA subsidies without the fix that none of the state’s four Republican members of Congress want to vote for. The only one of them to even answer the Spotlight’s request for comment was Senator Jim Justice’s office with a spokesman saying “This government funding package is not the correct vehicle to address something like this. He believes the discussion to be had on this issue shouldn’t be under the gun of a government shutdown.” This as if Dems are supposed to just surrender, keep the lights on, and then trust the GOP to want to correct their own fuckup.

Ohio Republican intros ban on robosexual relationships

Seeking to head off any emergent alternative lifestyles that are no doubt already happening at a small scale, Republican Ohio State Representative Thaddeus Claggett (yeah, that name is real) on Friday introduced House Bill 469 “To Declare AI systems nonsentient, prohibit legal personhood.”

If that sounds superfluous it’s because yeah, it is pretty superfluous since good fucking luck finding a judge that would allow you to legally declare ChatGPT is your spouse. But crafting incredibly redundant legislation that can just be superseded by a future majority is a Republican special so why the hell not put this up and get some derisive news coverage outside of the Buckeye State?

Relevant text of the bill: “Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, AI systems are declared to be nonsentient entities for all purposes under the laws of this state. (B) No AI system shall be granted the status of person or any form of legal personhood, nor be considered to possess consciousness, self-awareness, or similar traits of living beings. No AI system shall be recognized as a spouse, domestic partner, or hold any personal legal status analogous to marriage or union with a human or another AI system. Any purported attempt to marry or create a personal union with an AI system is void and has no legal effect,” written as if such attempts would have any legal effect now.

Fanboys using photoshopped pic to claim pic was photoshopped

These fucking freaks really are that desperate to disown their guy for massacring Mormons. The problem is that the top pic was posted six years ago and even if it wasn’t the bottom is such a piss poor job. Notice that the swatch covering the Trump 2020 logo is just a copied inversion of Michigan MAGA terrorist Thomas Sanford’s ample gut, plainly the work by an amateur who has no idea how to take advantage of the “generative fill” feature that’s been heavily promoted by Adobe.

YouTube pays $24.5 million tribute to Orange God Emperor

Dems and GOP still far apart after White House meeting

Congressional Democratic leaders told media that convicted felon President Trump seemed more open to a deal to keep the government open than Republicans did, per Punchbowl’s Jake Sherman from the scene as Chuck Schumer, John Thune, Hakeem Jeffries, and Mike Johnson exited the high-stakes meeting on Monday. “There were multiple times where Leader Jeffries or Leader Schumer would say, ‘You know what, we should be doing this,’ and the president of the United States would say, ‘Yeah, absolutely. Let’s have that conversation, but we’re going to do it in the context of the people’s government being open,'” said Jaydee himself to reporters after he left the Oval Office.

Federal drug arrests down 10 percent year-to-date vs 2024

Convicted felon President Trump’s regime have made 10 percent fewer drug arrests since year-to-date vs 2024, according to Reuters, who conclude that it’s the fat fuck and his creepy sidekick Stephen Miller’s reprogramming of the DOJ and DHS to instead deport illegal immigrants.

There was an even larger drop-off – 24 percent – in the number of conspiracy and money-laundering cases that are used as a means of taking down higher-level drug traffickers. Must be that all the dealers are so afraid of Trump that they quit criming and went straight for good.

Republicans looking at more shutdown blame than Dems: poll

A new Morning Consult national survey finds that “45 percent of voters say they’d blame Republicans in Congress for a government shutdown, while only 33 percent say they’d blame Democrats in Congress. Republican voters are more likely than Democrats to say their own party would be at fault (33 percent to 22 percent), while independent voters are more likely to point their fingers at the right than the left (41 percent to 24 percent). Roughly half of voters (48 percent) said a shutdown is at least ‘somewhat likely,’ up from 36 percent who said the same in March.”

Kushner and Bonesaw seize control of game publisher EA

“Electronic Arts Inc, a global leader in interactive entertainment, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an investor consortium (‘the Consortium’) comprised of PIF, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners in an all-cash transaction that values EA at an enterprise value of approximately $55 billion. The transaction positions EA to accelerate innovation and growth to build the future of entertainment. Under the terms of the agreement, the Consortium will acquire 100 percent of EA, with PIF rolling over its existing 9.9 percent stake in the Company.”

“EA stockholders will receive $210 per share in cash. The per share purchase price represents a 25 percent premium to EA’s unaffected share price of $168.32 at market close on September 25, 2025, the last fully unaffected trading day, and a premium to EA’s unaffected all-time high of $179.01 at market close on August 14, 2025. PIF, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners bring deep sector experience, committed capital, and global portfolios with networks across gaming, entertainment, and sports that offer unique possibilities for EA to blend physical and digital experiences, enhance fan engagement, and create new growth opportunities. The transaction represents the largest all-cash sponsor take-private investment in history, with the Consortium partnering closely with EA to enable the Company to move faster and unlock new opportunities on a global stage,” says a press release from EA. Love the “Consortium,” sounds like an evil organization from Mass Effect.

“PIF” stands for “Public Investment Fund” – as in the Saudi sovereign wealth fund – and Affinity Partners is Kushner’s slush fund for collecting his ill-gotten funds from Middle Eastern autocrats.

QAnon Shaman sues Trump, Warner Bros, T-Mobile for $40 trillion

Former hardcore Trump fan and January 6th icon Jake “QAnon Shaman” Chansley last week filed in a Maricopa County, Arizona court a $40 trillion civil complaint against convicted felon President Trump, Warner Bros, and T-Mobile alleging that, among a bunch of other bizarre shit, that the NSA spied on Chansley as he was writing a “2nd Declaration of Independence” and pretended to be actress Michelle Rodriguez on Facebook to catfish him, Trump stole $100,000 in crypto from him, that Warner Bros stole his idea for the 2008 Batman film The Dark Knight, and that Chansley is for some reason the lawful President of the United States of America, the Phoenix New Times reports.

Texan sadly stupid enough to believe police horse can smell drugs

Lubbock, Texas Police Department mounted cops Bryson Lewis and William Trotter tell KCBD they were out on patrol last Monday when they encountered a sketchy-looking dude walking in the street rather than the sidewalk. They stopped 42-year-old Joseph Ramirez to ask how he was doing and if he was on or carrying drugs. Ramirez refused to consent to a search of his pockets so Trotter figured he would tease the man. “I was going to make a joke because it seemed like it was going to break some tension. You know, it seemed like it was kind of stiff for a second there,” Trotter said.

So the cop told Ramirez he rides a “narcotics-smelling” horse, prompting the suspect to flee. “He kind of took off down the alley, and we thought he was joking but he kept running,” Lewis said, adding “He took it seriously, and the chase was on.” The pursuit did not last long at all.

“A lot of people that have come before us on Mounted Patrol have been in a foot chase. Somebody is silly enough to eventually run from a horse. I don’t know why it happens – we are going to outrun them,” said Lewis. “We are cops first; we enjoy this job. Chasing bad guys is part of the fun in it for us, so when you get to chase down a bad guy and not even get tired, it’s a good day,” said Trotter.

Ramirez was charged evading arrest and tampering with physical evidence with the intent to impair, there’s no indication of what drugs/paraphernalia he had and how he had tampered with them.

Dems cleaning up personal finances for fear of MAGA Reich

Several Congressional Dems tell Axios they’re taking seriously convicted felon President Trump’s very unserious investigations into mortgages taken out by his enemies New York State Attorney General Letitia James, Fed Governor Lisa Cook, and Senator Adam Schiff, with the other Dems poring over their tax returns, mortgages, and other personal affairs to protect themselves.
