Ketamine Brain blames Ukraine for “cyberattack” on Twitter

Claiming again that there’d been a “cyberattack” that led to the Twitter shitshow on Monday, drug-addicted billionaire Elon Musk told cokehead Larry Kudlow in an interview on Fox Business News that he had traced the digital terrorism to “IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area.” Big if true.

The former illegal immigrant also said “Most of the federal spending is entitlements… that’s the big one to eliminate… That is also the mechanism by which the Democrats attract and retain illegal immigrants. This is why Democrats are so upset about the situation.”

Dow Jones drops like Lindsey Graham’s pants at a molly party

Oooh oooh oooh! Wait, what if the headline said “Dow Jones drops like Mitch McConnell on a staircase”? Or “like Lauren Boebert’s dress at an off-Broadway musical”? Or “like a Russian politician from a 10th story window”? Or “salads from Sarah Huckabee’s diet after she started Ozempic”?

What about “tanks”? Is there any good one with “tanks”? Not as flexible, but could work in “tanks worse than Lara Trump’s latest single.” Hmmmm… Might have to start keeping a list of these handy.

Seattle officials unsure if Cybertruck fire was arson or self-arson

Law enforcement and fire department officials in Seattle aren’t sure if a Sunday night fire at a lot serving as a storage space for Cybertrucks in a nearby Tesla dealership’s inventory was an act of arson or if the hideous electric shitboxes caught fire because they’re Cybertrucks, KIRO reports.

The fire was reported around 11:15 pm on Sunday at the lot on 4th Avenue and South Spokane Street. KIRO does not have a count of how many of the vehicles were consumed in the inferno, nor much of any further details on the incident. “It’s unclear how the fires started,” the station wrote.

NASA announces they got some data from fucked up lunar lander

“Shortly after touching down inside a crater on the Moon, carrying NASA technology and science on its IM-2 mission, Intuitive Machines collected some data for the agency before calling an early end of mission at 12:15 am CST Friday. As part of the company’s second Moon delivery for NASA under the agency’s CLPS (Commercial Lunar Payload Services) initiative and Artemis campaign, the IM-2 mission included a drill to bring lunar soil to the surface and a mass spectrometer to look for the presence of volatiles, or gases, that could one day help provide fuel or breathable oxygen to future Artemis explorers. Planned to land at Mons Mouton, IM-2 touched down at approximately 11:30 am March 6, more than 1,300 feet (400 meters) from its intended landing site.”

“Intuitive Machines said images collected later confirmed the lander was on its side, preventing it from fully operating the drill and other instruments before its batteries were depleted. The IM-2 mission landed closer to the lunar South Pole than any previous lander,” says NASA in an update on their quest to find a silver lining to the IM-2 clusterfuck.

Orange Ayatollah proudly owns Columbia protestor’s abduction

“Following my previously signed Executive Orders, ICE proudly apprehended and detained Mahmoud Khalil, a Radical Foreign Pro-Hamas Student on the campus of Columbia University. This is the first arrest of many to come. We know there are more students at Columbia and other Universities across the Country who have engaged in pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic, anti-American activity, and the Trump Administration will not tolerate it. Many are not students, they are paid agitators. We will find, apprehend, and deport these terrorist sympathizers from our country – never to return again.”

“If you support terrorism, including the slaughtering of innocent men, women, and children, your presence is contrary to our national and foreign policy interests, and you are not welcome here. We expect every one of America’s Colleges and Universities to comply. Thank you!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Monday, the first public announcement on what happened to Khalil.

Again, whether Khalil was one of the “Genocide Joe” pieces of shit matters far less than the implications going forward. Next it could be Ukrainians, anti-Putin Russians, or even Chinese dissidents. However this still has to get past a judge and we’ll see how it goes.

Terrified illegal immigrant Mexican doesn’t blame Trump

Actual words printed by the New York Times on Monday: “Jose has been whipped into quiet panic this winter by President Trump’s threats of mass deportations. He’s still turning up for his shifts at a wood-finishing factory – he can’t afford not to – but most of his co-workers have stopped coming. His wife is afraid to go to her factory job, and they’re keeping the 11-year-old home from school. Jose was nervous in the restaurant, curling his posture inward and eying the street outside.”

“But Jose doesn’t hold Mr Trump responsible. [He and his naturalized citizen friend Aldair Mata, who of course voted for the fat fuck] both blame ‘the Venezuelans,’ which is shorthand for the more than 50,000 migrants (about 30,000 of them Venezuelan) who’ve poured into Chicago since 2022.

“Jose complains that ‘nothing matters’ to the migrants, that some of them commit crimes and receive coveted work permits despite being ‘lazy.’ ‘If they hadn’t come,’ he said darkly, ‘none of this would have happened.'” This, the illegal immigrant living in Chicago said as if your average MAGA caucasian knows or cares about the difference between Mexicans and Venezuelans.

Ontario premier jacks US electricity export rates up 25 percent

Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Monday announced that the 25 percent increase in electricity prices for export to the US are now in effect, the AP reports on another setback for convicted felon President Trump’s empty campaign pledge to cut Americans’ utility bills in half in by 2026.

“I will not hesitate to increase this charge. If the United State escalates, I will not hesitate to shut the electricity off completely,” Ford said at a news conference in Toronto. “Believe me when I say I do not want to do this. I feel terrible for the American people who didn’t start this trade war. It’s one person who is responsible, it’s Trump.” Ford says he expects $300,000 CAD a day in new revenue.

Nepalese monarchists turn out in droves for deposed king’s visit

Carrying posters bearing slogans like “We want our King back,” “Abolish federal republican system and reinstate the monarchy,” and “The King and the country are dearer than our life,” Nepal’s monarchists on Sunday turned out big for a visit by former King Gyanendra Shah to Kathmandu, the Hindustan Times reports on what one might describe as a bit of regression in the Himalayan nation.

Now this wasn’t a defiant return from exile as, while it’s unclear from the article where Gyanedra currently resides, he’s not an enemy of the state like Napoleon or Idi Amin and has been free to move about Nepal since he was dethroned and the monarchy abolished by parliament in 2008. It’s also unclear how much momentum he’s got, as this was hundreds, not thousands of subjects turning out for their king, but that he can say publicly that the “time has come for us to assume responsibility to protect the country and bring about national unity,” without any major pro-democracy protestors coming at him might be at least an indication of where this could be going.

CNBC tells it like it is

“Stocks dropped on Monday as the selling pressures that dragged Wall Street last week persisted, with investors worried about an economic slowdown after President Donald Trump didn’t rule out a recession with US tariffs being implemented,” CNBC writes in the lede to their top story Monday.

“US stocks dropped in early trading on Monday, suffering widespread losses a day after President Donald Trump declined to rule out the possibility of a recession,” ABC News wrote in their convergent lede, both outlets and others probably risking another $10 billion lawsuit.

Gateway Pundit just tweeting questions

Maybe, just maybe, it should be self-evident that Twitter is not down if you tweeted the fucking article after a 20 minute outage. It also could be worth considering that the “Deep State” would be more effective at cyberattacks and would have somehow taken the platform down permanently if they really wanted to. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, one might also ponder whether Twitter owner Elon Musk is in fact qualified to run the entire US federal government if he can’t properly protect his own social media network from said attacks. Or just simple self-inflicted outages.

Supreme Court to hear bid to end Colorado conversion therapy ban

The US Supreme Court on Monday granted certiorari to Chiles v Salazar, a case whose petition reads “Kaley Chiles is a licensed counselor who helps people by talking with them. A practicing Christian, Chiles believes that people flourish when they live consistently with God’s design, including their biological sex. Many of her clients seek her counsel precisely because they believe that their faith and their relationship with God establishes the foundation upon which to understand their identity and desires. But Colorado bans these consensual conversations based on the viewpoints they express. Its content- and viewpoint-based Counseling Restriction prohibits counseling conversations with minors that might encourage them to change their ‘sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions,’ while allowing conversations that provide ‘[a]cceptance, support, and understanding for…identity exploration and development, including…[a]ssistance to a person undergoing gender transition.’ Colo Rev Stat § 12- 245-202(3.5). The Tenth Circuit upheld this ban as a regulation of Chiles’s conduct, not speech. In doing so, the court deepened a circuit split between the Eleventh and Third Circuits, which do not treat counseling conversations as conduct, and the Ninth Circuit, which does.”

So yeah, it’s “muh freedoms” are more important than your conversion therapy ban.

Utah governor to sign bill banning water fluoridation

In a landmark policy win for MAGA-QAnon freaks, Utah Governor Spencer Cox on Sunday said he’ll sign a bill to ban water fluoridation in the Green Jello State, the Wall Street Journal reports.

“It’s got to be a really high bar for me if we’re going to require people to be medicated by their government,” said Cox in an interview with ABC4 Utah. “It’s not a bill I felt strongly about; it’s not a bill I care that much about, but it’s a bill I will sign.” Cox added that half the counties in the state don’t fluoridate water supplies and claimed that dentists told him they don’t see big differences.

The American Dental Association urged Cox to veto the bill, writing it would end “one of the most trusted and tested public health strategies in the arsenal of preventive medicine.”

Senate Dems to intro bill forcing rehire for all veterans laid off

Dem Senators Andy Kim and Tammy Duckworth will on Monday introduce the Protect Veteran Jobs Act, forcing the Trump Regime to reinstate every US military veteran who has been DOGEd needlessly over the past few weeks and also require a quarterly summary on the number of vets removed from the federal workforce – and the justification for their firing, ABC News reports.

“Veterans who choose to continue their service to our country in the federal workforce deserve our utmost gratitude, but instead this Administration has kicked thousands of our heroes to the curb and left them without a paycheck,” Duckworth, a disabled combat veteran, said in a statement. “The message of our bill is simple: Give our heroes their jobs back. If Republicans really care about our Veterans, they should stop enabling Trump and Musk’s chaos and support our legislation.”

Hard to call this simply a “messaging bill” when there’s a not-completely-insignificant chance it could pass. If it does, great, if not then the Republican excuse for blocking it ought to be interesting, to say the least. Ted Cruz is always good for some speciously doctrinaire and/or technocratic horseshit but this is probably going to be a tough one for him to conjure up. Maybe more likely is a “poison pill” rider like abolishing the Department of Education or putting Trump on the $100 bill.

Orange Conquistador remembers to threaten Greenland again

“As I made clear during my Joint Address to Congress, the United States strongly supports the people of Greenland’s right to determine their own future. We will continue to KEEP YOU SAFE, as we have since World War II. We are ready to INVEST BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to create new jobs and MAKE YOU RICH – And, if you so choose, we welcome you to be a part of the Greatest Nation anywhere in the World, the United States of America!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Sunday night, remembering he was supposed to be threatening the vast, icy island territory after the issue tailed off last month and he began threatening to annex Gaza instead.

Top State Department official called Rubio a homosexual

In a series of since-deleted tweets dug up by CNN’s KFile, far right shitbag influencer-turned-Acting Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy Darren Beattie on January 7, 2021 all but outright called his now-boss Secretary of State Marco Rubio a homosexual, writing “Forget Wainwright park, forget the foam, forget the war promotion and the neocon sugar daddies, forget the low IQ, forget the 2016 primary, Rubio is TOUGH ON CHINA (and good for military industrial complex) So be a good DOG and vote for him!!!” with “Wainwright Park” code for some old curfew violation from when Rubio was a teenager and “the foam” alluding to foam parties at LGBTQ nightclubs.

Then, in a less-inscrutably-coded tweet, Beattie followed up with “What happens in the Cabana stays in the Cabana #Rubio.” Other trashed tweets included “If a bunch of DC wonks try to reinvent Marco Rubio as a nationalist, but a ‘respectable’ one who promises tax credits to BLM supporters and is ‘TOUGH ON CHINA’ will you be a good dog and vote for him?” and “I bet Rubio still thinks Assad gassed his own people.” So they’re probably getting along great at work.

MAGAsymmetrical Warfare

“Michigan autoworker Joseph Knowles, a guest at President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress, explained why he ‘made a damn good choice’ switching from being a lifelong Democrat to a Republican. During Trump’s address on Tuesday, when he honored a 13-year-old brain cancer survivor and the mother of a 12-year-old girl who was murdered, allegedly by illegal migrants, most Democrats remained seated. Some protested the address by holding signs that read ‘FALSE,’ ‘NO king!’ and ‘MUSK STEALS,'” says the lede to a Fox News story printed early Saturday morning, itself just a recap of an on-air segment from Wednesday after Trump’s stupid speech.

“I’m very disappointed in the Democrats on how they handled things,” Knowles told two Caucasian Fox News anchors in the middle of the afternoon. “And you know what? I feel like I made a damn good choice of not voting for them anymore, and I’m very proud of how Donald Trump handled it.”

Moving on from complaining about Dems’ conduct at the speech, he then ripped into the party overall. “They said their agenda was for the working people, but that’s not the case,” said literally every fucking Fox News guest billed as a “former Democrat” over the last decade Knowles. “They’re out-of-touch, and I can no longer support an organization or a political party like that.”

It might’ve been around this point, or maybe when Knowles said “I got very good hope for the Republican Party. I mean, more and more people are seeing the true colors of the Democrats. And it took me, I’m sorry, 20 years to see that, and I woke up. I’m very confident the American people will wake up too,” that a reader might begin to perceive something about this interview. Not just that Knowles’s lines were scripted, because you’d have to be pretty fucking stupid not to have picked that up right away, but that they were scripted with a specific intent. A very specific intent.
