In Rachel Maddow’s new documentary, “From Russia With Lev” which will premiere Friday, hair dye drip model Rudy Giuliani’s pal Lev Parnas sits down with Hunter Biden–literally face to face in the same room–and admits that he got records from disgraced journalist John Solomon, who reportedly got them from FBI agents who secretly subpoenaed them during the Trump administration.

After Hunter noted that his bank records weren’t on a computer, Parnas explains, “I got an e-mail from John Solomon that said that his friend at the FBI got your records.  I don’t know where, how, what.”  Putting it together, Hunter details, “So the FBI got my records under a secret subpoena under the Trump Administration and then handed the to John Solomon and then Rudy Giuliani re-circulates the back into the DOJ and onto me.”

According to a clip shown on Maddow’s MSNBC show, Parnas says, “John Solomon, him and Sean Hannity and Fox had a whole system” to obtain, promote and disseminate dirt on Democrats.

Like Sisyphus and the rock, Democrats continue to try to sprout a modicum of ethics on the Supreme Court, this time after an e-mail from Justice Clarence Thomas’s wife, Ginni, to a conservative “religious liberty” astroturf group praising the organization’s recent efforts to block ethics requirements, ABC News reports.

“YOU GUYS HAVE FILLED THE SAILS OF MANY JUDGES. CAN I JUST TELL YOU, THANK YOU SO, SO, SO MUCH,” Ginni Thomas reportedly wrote in an e-mail to First Liberty Institute’s leadership after the group moved to block potential ethics enforcement for the Court.

“The reported comments by Ginni Thomas are deeply problematic,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Dick Durbin said in a statement. “She’s testified before Congress that she and Justice Thomas do not discuss each other’s work. That defense now rings hollow. Whether she’s inflating her knowledge of judges’ views on ethics reform or telling the truth, her apparent comments on behalf of judicial officers create a clear appearance of impropriety for Justice Thomas.”

For obvious reasons, the pre-game coverage of Tuesday night’s showdown between Vice President Kamala Harris and convicted felon former President Trump has reached a saturation point, almost to the level where you’d think it was the election itself. In some ways it might as well be the election itself given the potential impact. That by now it’s rote to point out that the last debate was so significant that it led to a change of candidate for the Dems does not make it any less true.

That could mean “meh” but we don’t know because the report didn’t elaborate further. “I think – I pray – he can be disciplined,” said Republican strategist Trish McLaughlin to Politico in a story printed Saturday. The Guardian on Monday reported that Team Orange know everything rides on whether they get “happy Trump” or “angry Trump.” Their August 29th story from inside Mar-a-Lago was better. A Trump minion told the New York Times that they’re worried that if Donald tries to stay on his best behavior then he could overdo it and come across as “low energy.” In the same piece Donald also told his minions “I’m not going to let her do to me what she did to Mike,” as in Mike Pence. The fat bastard also came pretty close to dropping out, but “concluded that the downsides of skipping the debate – especially the appearance of weakness – outweighed his concerns about attending.” CNN reports Trump is going to zero in on “flip-flopping,” with one sycophant saying “We want to keep him steered toward hitting her record, that she is just as responsible for the Biden administration’s failed policies as Biden is.”

Jessica Leeds, the woman whom convicted felon former President Trump on Friday said “would not have been the chosen one,” in response to her accusations that he groped her on a flight back in the 1970s, told reporters Monday he’s considering a defamation lawsuit against the fat fuck over his claims that he never met her and all the other crazy shit he said last week, Insider reports.

Norfolk Southern CEO Alan Shaw will likely depart from the job this week after a board investigation found that the railroad exec has been railing an employee, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The identity of the employee whom Shaw was parking his little choo-choo inside of was not disclosed to the Journal, but it’s quite possible her name was Dinah, which made it fun for coworkers to sing “I’ve been working on the railroad” but with the other verse changed to “Someone’s at the motel with Dinah, someone’s at the motel I know-oh-oh-oh” while at their desks in the office.

A new Quinnipiac University survey of likely voters in North Carolina finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 49 to 46 percent, same as a SurveyUSA poll of the state put out just hours earlier on Monday. In better news for Trump, Quinnipiac separately found the fat fuck leading Harris in Georgia 49 to 45 percent among likely Peach State voters.

In the gubernatorial race, Dem Attorney General Josh Stein receives 51 percent support to obese right wing psychopath porn addict Republican Lt Governor Mark Robinson’s 41 percent support, Libertarian Party candidate Mike Ross receives 2 percent support, and Green Party candidate Wayne Turner and Constitution Party candidate Vinny Smith each receive 1 percent support.

Finally Morning Consult finds Harris leading Trump 49 to 46 among likely voters nationally and by the same margin in the Blue Wall states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, while they’re tied at 48 each in Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina. Trump leads Harris 49 to 47 in Arizona.

Michigan’s state Supreme Court on Monday overturned an intermediate appellate court ruling removing brainwormed independent candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr from the ballot.

As for the other two swing states where Bobby’s trying to get off: Wisconsin is still TBD but not terribly likely to succeed, in North Carolina an appellate court did order election officials to remove him – this is where he actually had a weaker case because the absentee ballots were already being printed and just about to be mailed out – but we’ll see where the state Supreme Court lands on this.

A new SurveyUSA/WRAL poll of North Carolina voters finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 49 to 46 percent, a marginal improvement from the 1 percent lead the same pollster found August 22nd. The gubernatorial race numbers were either not polled or – much more likely – were held for a later article to be printed separately.

Harris had a +4 favorability rating overall – with 50 percent viewing her favorably and 46 percent viewing her unfavorably. Minnesota Gov Tim Walz, had a +5 favorability rating, with 40 percent viewing him favorably, 35 percent viewing him unfavorably and the rest not having an opinion.

Trump had a negative 9 favorability rating overall – with 44 percent viewing him favorably and 53 percent viewing him unfavorably. Running mate JD Vance is 6 percent underwater, with 35 percent viewing him favorably, 41 percent viewing him unfavorably and the rest not having an opinion.

An unidentified Florence, South Carolina man knew it was one green mamba, two gaboon vipers, one fer-de-lace, one death adder, one eastern diamondback rattlesnake, two black forest cobras, two adult rattlesnakes (species unknown), two neotropical rattlesnakes, one small rattlesnake (species unknown), and one inland taipan when he took them in, and one of them bit him, according to WBTW, citing a police report. Especially if they’re on fire, when all threats to the hive real or imagined must be stung, as happened to a crew from CalFire last week, according to the Modesto Bee (no relation). Firefighters responded to a small brush fire on Sonora Road in east Stanislaus County which had started in an apiary. The beekeepers had accidentally ignited it when using a smoker to scare the bees out of their hive boxes in order to gather honey. The fire was put out fairly quickly and only a few on the firefighters were stung by flaming bees. The apiary lost about $40,000 worth of bees and honey in the incident.

New Hampshire Gov Chris Sununu sprang into action on Sunday during a lobster roll eating contest after a competitor suddenly began showing signs of distress, choking on a piece of crustacean meat until the governor swept in and dislodged it with the Heimlich maneuver, the Daily Beast reports.

The Republican – who knows a thing or two about choking given his record during Sunday morning show appearances this year – was on stage helping to officiate the annual Hampton Beach Lobster Roll Eating Competition when eater Christian Moreno choked under the spotlight. Moreno didn’t even know who had saved him until after. “My counter came up to me and, like, made a joke. And was like, ‘Oh, like, I bet nobody else can say that they’ve gotten the Heimlich from the governor before. And I looked at him, was just like, that was, that was the governor?” the man told WMUR.

Moreno was able to consume nine lobster rolls during the contest, seven of them after the choking incident, which impressed Sununu. It was not enough to win the competition however.

Well here’s something approximating a resolution to what we’d been curious about earlier as to what color the ducks allegedly being killed and eaten by Haitian migrants in Ohio were. Turns out they are white, at least in the AI-generated images posted by the House Judiciary Committee Twitter account as operated by Jim Jordan. We weren’t up to speed on the cats getting eaten too though.
