For the 1/100th time, the reason we show so many Cases, compared to other countries that haven’t done nearly as well as we have, is that our TESTING is much bigger and better. We have tested 40,000,000 people. If we did 20,000,000 instead, Cases would be half, etc. NOT REPORTED!

For some odd reason, Trump again appealed to the 1%, trying to explain the recent spike in the number of cases in primarily southern states as a result of increased testing being due to increased testing.
Using his “Ostrich Defense”–if we don’t see it, it’s not happening–Trump claimed that the spike would not actually be occurring if testing wasn’t available.
Trump made no attempt to explain why the United States also has twice as many fatalities due to the coronavirus as any other country.
The New York Times recently reported about testing shortages in cities around the nation, and many tests result in a false-negative result. Additionally, the facilities to process these tests in the United States are limited.
