Donald Trump’s middle son–the youngest son of his first wife–is being deposed by the Attorney General of New York State as his father is scheduled to return to the White House from Walter Reed Military Medical Center.
According to ABC News, Eric Trump was being deposed relating to financial improprieties concerning the Trump Organization, the company his father owns and for which he serves as an executive vice president.
Eric Trump will be questioned about the misstatement of values for property owned by the Trump Organization, such as the Seven Springs estate in upstate New York, for which the Trump family gets conservation tax credits even though the Trump Organization says it intends to develop.
On the Trump Organization website, the Seven Springs Estate was listed as being “used as a retreat for the Trump family,” which means it cannot be considered an investment property for the company.
