Alyssa Farah has resigned her position as White House Communications Director, effective Friday, ending a three-and-a-half year tenure within the administration, the Washington Post reports.
Farah, the daughter of WorldNetDaily founder Joseph Farah, started as press secretary to Vice President Mike Pence, then moved to become the Pentagon’s spokesperson. She became the communications director of the White House in April.
Her departure demonstrates that the reality of outgoing president Donald Trump’s loss in the November election is starting to sink in with even the most ardent Trump supporters in the White House.
