President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that the United States has achieved his goal of administering 200 million coronavirus vaccines within his first 100 days in office. The goal was originally set at 100 million doses administered, which was reached on March 18th, so Biden pushed for the larger target. Biden’s 100th day in office will be April 30th.
Biden also noted in his remarks that he wants business to provide paid time off to employees so they can go get their vaccinations, a step that would allow people to be in safer workplaces.
