Lara Trump, the woman whose decision-making is so poor that she actually decided that having sex with Eric Trump would be a good idea, made an appearance on Hannity last Thursday to claim that rising Turkey prices are part of a secret liberal plot to destroy Holidays and keep American families from gathering. Amid a head-spinning display of right-wing paranoia and stupidity, Trump delivered this tirade:

“They have told us from the beginning that they want to fundamentally transform America. Well, how do you that? You have to change America from the inside-out. You have to take away our traditions. So it might seem a little funny and a little ridiculous. ‘Oh, don’t have a turkey, then people won’t come over.’ Last year, remember, they didn’t want us to get together, so I guess we’re lucky they’re letting us have Thanksgiving this year. At really, the core of this, they want to divide Americans up. They don’t want us to have any common ground. They don’t want us to have any shared traditions like Thanksgiving.”

First off, who are “they” that Trump is alleging want to “fundamentally transform America”? When have liberals, minorities or academics ever suggested that we should get rid of Thanksgiving? The fundamental transformation of America that we are actually seeking is really just a proper implementation of the 14th Amendment by removing racist and sexist scumbags from positions of power so that everyone has an equal shot at a decent life. Also, if the Trump family is so concerned about rising prices in the US, then why doesn’t Trump just get on the phone and tell Putin and Mohammed bin Salman to stop limiting oil production to try to harm the Biden Administration and boost his re-election prospects? Trump could end the high gas prices with one phone call, so isn’t it really Donald Trump who is destroying Thanksgiving for his own political gain?

Also, what about Trump’s war on Christmas? If it wasn’t for Putin and Mohammed bin Salman wanting to boost re-election prospects for their Trump puppet, then Americans wouldn’t have to sacrifice their Christmas shopping because of Trump’s political ambitions. It really is time for America to tell Trump that this country’s well-being is more important than his desire to be President again, and he needs to call his handlers and tell them that he’s not running for President and they need to stop trying to harm the Biden Administration and the US economy. It’s not likely that a narcissist like Trump would ever do that though, so it appears that the Trump Family’s war on Christmas will continue, because the former guy is too childish and power hungry to admit that he’ll never be President again.
