The search continues for a woman in her 20s who fell off a cabin balcony and into the Pacific off the coast of Mexico early Saturday. After turning the search over to the Mexican navy, the Carnival Miracle continued on its planned voyage, NBC News reports.
There was a rumor that ship’s photographer Ace Covington Evans may have captured the woman going overboard, but Captain Merrill Stubing stated that Evans had not, in fact, photographed the incident. Stubing also denied that the woman, who has not been named, was over-served by Head Bartender Isaac Washington, despite her having to treated for …[checks notes]… “dehydration” by ship’s doctor Adam Bricker.
“This is an unusual thing on our cruises,” cruise director Julie McCoy said. “Most of the time, we just have drinks on the Lido Deck… and then maybe some coke… and more drinks. Because it’s hard being this perky all the time.”
