Florida Secretary of State abruptly quits

Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee submitted her resignation to Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday without giving a reason why, WKMG reports. “Together, we protected and grew Florida’s competitive business climate… and strengthened Florida’s election systems. Because of your leadership, the Department of State is stronger and better than when we found it,” Lee wrote in her letter of resignation like a total kiss ass. It’s not clear if Lee was actually fired.
