On one hand outgoing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell hates convicted felon former President Trump and simply used him to further his own evil agenda during the fat bastard’s failed four years in office. It’s a no-brainer that Mitch prefers a Republican win the presidency and enable more court-packing and a plutocratic tax regime, hence the “endorsement” for Trump.
On the other, even if that endorsement was tepid and unenthusiastic for Trump himself, you would think Mitch would be excited for Donald to lead a Red Wave that would result in a trifecta in January and free rein for a GOP dictatorship, and to show that excitement by publicly projecting some confidence whether or not he harbors any inner personal doubt over his party’s prospects.
Mitch didn’t do that while addressing some business group meeting on Wednesday, per NBC’s Lexington, Kentucky affiliate. The fascist Bluegrass State Senator said he wasn’t sure who was going to win, only that it’ll be “very, very competitive,” and then played up his very meager bipartisan record, saying “I actually joined Joe Biden in announcing that the Brent Spence Bridge was going to be built and miraculously enough, even without tolls. As you can imagine, I think, none of my members were too happy to see me standing by Joe Biden up in northern Kentucky.”
