Not going to lie, we admired Olivia Nuzzi, found her to be really freaking talented and especially loved her 2022 report on Mehmet Oz and her tales of convicted felon former President Trump’s 2020 campaign. But this shit about Robert F Kennedy Jr is just gross and its now even grosser with the Daily Beast reporting that her editors at New York Magazine had caught wind of it because Roadkill Guy was bragging about her sending him nudes. The 31 year-old Nuzzi had at first denied it to her bosses, but when pressed she caved and admitted to the “relationship.” A source tells the Beast that “the two had met multiple times, though they cautioned those meetings included public functions, and maintained that Nuzzi and Kennedy’s relationship was never physical.”

Uhuh. Not sure what’s more fucked up, an engaged reporter sending a married 70 year-old weirdo pics of herself naked without a concomitant physical relationship or that they’re all still lying about this as if the absence of said physical relationship somehow makes it better. And on that “engaged” part, that’s over as – hilariously – the way that was revealed was Nuzzi’s now ex-fiancee, 50 year-old Politico Playbook editor Ryan Lizza, slipped it in when announcing he was going to remain true to ethical principles of journalism. “Because of my connection to this story through my ex-fiancée, my editors and I have agreed that I won’t be involved in any coverage of Kennedy in Playbook or elsewhere at POLITICO,” Lizza wrote at the bottom of the newsletter’s Friday afternoon edition.
