Republican Springfield, Ohio Mayor Rob Rue, who had been planning a conference call earlier this month with Mike Pence replacement and Rue’s actual currently sitting Senator JD Vance – a plan that collapsed when city officials found out that Vance had planned on letting a bunch of local MAGA conspiracy theorists join – tells Politico that he still has yet to hear from Jaydee since at all since the couchfucker started propagating lies about the city’s Haitian community eating cats.
“We didn’t trust what that would look like because we were concerned those being brought on may not even be our constituents. It would not have been productive,” Rue said, adding his family’s been getting threats and that someone dropped off a confused Haitian migrant at his house last weekend.
Republican Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, a Springfield native, told Politico’s Jonathan Martin a similar story. Not about the threats or a Haitian migrant getting dropped off at his home, but about not having heard from Vance – or convicted felon former President Trump. But also he doesn’t think it would matter. “It’s clear nothing that I would say would alter” JD or Trump’s conduct, said DeWine.
The governor did however speak with President Joe Biden, by which time FBI agents were already on the ground in Springfield, having been deployed in response to numerous bomb threats.
