Contradicting convicted felon President Trump’s claims that Qatar Force One was offered by the tiny Middle Eastern monarchy as a gift to the United States, CNN reports that it was his regime that first approached the Qataris to at first ask them about buying or leasing the jet. For years the fat bastard was obsessed with replacing or upgrading Air Force One and resumed doing so upon returning to office in January, pretty much immediately ordering the Pentagon to hassle Boeing over the delays holding up a new version that was supposed to be delivered who the hell knows how long ago.
Boeing reps mentioned other clients that newer planes could possibly be leased from. “And Qatar was one of the clients,” a source told CNN, adding the Pentagon approached and “offered to buy the plane” and the Qataris indicated they were willing to sell it. How that became a “gift” to Trump and not the United States is still not totally clear, but yeah, it’s some sort of bribe.
