Norwegian tourist Mads Mikkelsen – not to be confused with Casino Royale and Star Wars Rogue One actor of the same name – told an outlet in his native country that Border Patrol agents on June 11th turned him back because they found the above bald JD Vance meme on his phone, the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday. The 21 year-old told Nordlys he was subjected to “abuse of power and harassment… They asked questions about drug trafficking, terrorist plots and right-wing extremism totally without reason” and threatened him with five years in the joint and/or a $5,000 fine if he didn’t unlock his phone… where they found the Photoshopped version of the vice president.

Mikkelson was promptly turned around and sent back to Norway on another flight.

Regime propagandists furiously denied it and claimed that it was about drug use…

…which of course just screams post-facto crock of shit coming from a regime that let a profligate and insanely-addled drug abuser run wild over wide swaths of the government for months.

And that in March a French scientist “who was traveling to a conference near Houston was denied entry to the United States before being expelled. This measure was apparently taken by the American authorities because the researcher’s phone contained exchanges with colleagues and friends in which he expressed a personal opinion on the Trump administration’s research policy.”

Apparently no similar “damage control” or claims that the guy was a drug abuser or suspected terrorist or whatever the fuck stupid story they wanted to tell surfaced after that expulsion.
