New York City Dem mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani is set lose out on a big endorsement from a political powerhouse in Gotham as WNYW reports that none other than Mayor Eric Adams will endorse former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the race to succeed Adams at Gracie Mansion.
The soon-to-be-former-mayor’s double snub of Mamdani and Republican Curtis Sliwa comes months after Adams called Cuomo a “snake” amid what had been a heated four-way until Adams dropped his reelection bid while polling at around 7 percent as an independent candidate.
