The Trump Organization charged American taxpayers as much as $1,185 a night for Secret Service agents to stay at their properties, a $1.4 million total haul for Donald’s corrupt company, a House Oversight Committee investigation has found, according to the Washington Post.
“The exorbitant rates charged to the Secret Service and agents’ frequent stays at Trump-owned properties raise significant concerns about the former President’s self-dealing and may have resulted in a taxpayer-funded windfall for former President Trump’s struggling businesses,” Oversight Chair Carolyn Maloney wrote to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.
