Fox Corporation announced eleven people including Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Maria Bartiromo are slated to testify during the civil trial to settle the defamation claims brought by Dominion Voting Systems, Reuters reports.
In the $1.6 billion case, Dominion will be able to question the hosts about their public, on-air statements claiming Dominion fraudulently rigged results to favor Democrat Joe Biden, versus their private internal discussions where virtually all of them dismissed the possibility of election tampering. The judge in the case has already determined that it’s unquestionable Fox personalities lied on the air and knowingly broadcast false information. The trial will now determine if Fox did it maliciously and what damages Dominion incurred.
