Worldometers registers 200,000th US coronavirus death

Worldometers.info has logged a grim milestone in the coronavirus pandemic in the US: 200,000 American fatalities.

With its daily tally not complete, the number of fatalities for the day is not complete, but as of 8:00 p.m. ET, the nation has topped the watershed mark.

While other data aggregators have the level between 195,000 and 200,000, Worldometers is the first one to eclipse the number.
